Meet Chandra

Hello love,

I'm Chandra, owner and lead stylist of Hairston's & Co.

I've been blessed to be a thirty plus year veteran in the beauty industry. I feel that I have so lucky to have a career that lights me up everyday.  Growing up a military brat, my sister and I moved around a plenty. My childhood memories of living in Germany, Florida, and Hampton, Virginia before moving to Maryland. 

Working most of my career in fast paced large salon settings, I began craving real contact, interactions, and relationships that were so hard to develop in such a fast paced environment.  So it was time for a change.

Hairston's & Co. is my passion project to get back to the core of the salon experience.  Like a military base, my studio is the very picture of diversity. A place where each guest feels pampered in an environment free from pretention. 

 As a salon owner my goal everyday is to make everyone in my chair feel both welcomed, beautiful, and pampered. ​
